Adopt a donkey and we will send you an Adoption Certificate and keep you updated on how the donkeys are getting on when we send out our newsletter.

Hero (and his partner of more than 20 years, Flora McDonald) belonged to a friend of the sanctuary. When she died her widower asked us to take them once he had sold up and moved away. Both donkeys been very petted and well loved and have settled in very well here.

Hero was born in 1980.
