Dillon was rescued from Galway market in 2005, along with Jason, Pixie and Shaggy Sean.
He currently lives with Jason and is the biggest donkey at the sanctuary. Despite his large size he is one of the most timid donkeys and is currently getting some gentle training so that he can become more confident with people.
