Well the event took place on Sunday and left is the after picture.

Joe is very much looking forward to surprising old work colleagues etc when he walks around the Borders over the next few days. Thank you to everybody who did sponsor him and he hopes  to have made about £250 by the time everything is collected in.

It has been decided to upgrade the electricity supply in the barn used by our eldest donkeys. So to help towards the costs Joe Coulson our Sanctuary Administrator & Secretary has decided that on April 4th 2011 he is going to shave off his very old beard. His beard has been in place since July 1975 so nearly 36 years! His wife Judith and son David have never seen his face completely hair-free so this will be quite an event.
