Dusty is off to Liverpool
Friday, 23 July 2010

Those of you who read the Sunday Post or The Southern Reporter will know that Dusty is going to have an operation soon. We have the date when he will be leaving for the Liverpool University equine hospital. It is Monday the 2nd August. This is very good news as we were recently informed that they had a large waiting list but somehow the urgency has been conveyed to them. Over £4,000 was sent to the Sanctuary following the article in The Sunday Post about six or seven weeks ago and this will help with the cost greatly.

Another bit of good news is that Daniel is to accompany Dusty and this should help to ease the stress of the journey and so that neither will be stressed through separation as well. They should return around the 12th  of August however two or more treatments will be required to stand a chance of a cure. We will keep you posted on the situation.

One final thing - If you can make it to The Sanctuary on Sunday 25th July at 4 o'clock for the SHOW then I hope that you have a safe journey and enjoy yourselves.
