Visiting the sanctuary

A gentle reminder

The work of the sanctuary is carried out entirely by volunteers who, as you can imagine, need to put long hours and a lot of effort into making sure all the animals are well cared for.  We do welcome visits from the public but we would be grateful if these could be restricted to the Donkey Walks held every Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Organisations

We can accommodate groups from organisations at other times but only by prior arrangement.  Please phone in advance on 01835 832468 (answering machine is on if we are busy with the donks).  Email to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it   or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Funding

All our income comes from volunteers fundraising, sales, adoption and special events. We receive no government or charitable funding, therefore do not be surprised by the vigour and dedication of our "bucket rattlers" on donkey walks and dig as deep as you can to help support the animals.  If you could help with fundraising please contact Helen via the office. We always welcome help and suggestions.
