We have another companion for Horace-Pierre
Thursday, 06 May 2010

On Saturday 1st May another donkey arrived. The trial partnership between Horace-Pierre and Milo has not worked out. Milo was just too boisterous and large for our H P. Rosemary heard of a small donkey over in Newry Northern Ireland being available and it was decided to try him as a buddy for Horace. The donkey is called Tobermory or just Toby for ease and when they met for the first time on Saturday it was the start of a great partnership. Kate has never seen two donkeys hit it off so instantly. Let us hope that it continues. Toby is about 9 months old and a lot smaller than H P.

One of our neighbours has agreed to let us have a small field and discussions are taking place to relocate Cocoa and Madonna but it isn't 100% certain so hold this page

Una who mans( or perhaps womans) the shop for us on Sundays has returned from having a minor operation at the Borders General Hospital, so we wish her a speedy recovery over the next few weeks.

Unfortunately we do not have anybody to man (woman) the shop for us on Saturdays so if anybody knows of somebody local willing to give a couple of hours on a Saturday afternoon then please get in touch.

And just to keep everybody interested we will have some Interesting news of a romantic nature next week.
